Captions is a short video that creates a dialogue between two fictional forms of nature. Real nature, as in a field of grass seen randomly in many TV series that inspired the Grasses’ collages during the quarantine, the detail of one acting here as a background. And a figurative, symbolic nature, that of the mental representation produced by reading the subtitles of the pictures I captured from those landscapes on television. The nature-like collage in the background, plus the images that form in our minds while reading the subtitles, convey the sensations you might feel in a pastoral field.
