The Iznik Foundation, established in September 1993 under the direction of Prof. Dr. Işil Akbaygil, invited me in September 2019 to explore my artistic language applied to Iznik tiles at the İznik Vakıf Çinileri in Iznik (historical Nicaea), eastern Turkey.
